Development

ENDOCAST®,
ENDOCAST® SL and ENDITAN® have been successfully used as implant
materials for over 25 years. To ensure their reliable application, the
Development Department examines the correlation between the production and
machining processes, the material microstructure and the mechanical
properties. The aim of this is to determine the optimal material properties
for later application.

For research
and development work, the Development Department provides
qualified personnel together with the following facilities and testing
procedures:
- Material analysis (X-ray fluorescence analysis, XRF)
- Metallography (light-optical microscope, scanning electron microscope)
- Microscopy
- Hardness testing
- Tensile testing
- Fatigue testing
- Wear testing
- Component and component group testing
Besides internal research and development work, we also conduct R&D projects
for or with clients.
